Rainbow Challenge, Day 5 - Purple

I have been proper looking forward to this day. Now we are getting to the end of the spectrum that I love. But as all good things go to pants, loads of stuff cropped up so I couldn't post yesterday.

However, I decided to go with a Magnetics polish I hadn't tried before because it was a finish I hadn't used this week. As I haven't used my China Glaze Magnetix 'Drawn to You' I thought I would give it a whirl.

I already have magnetx that I purchased from Ebay, so I don't have the official China Glaze ones. I chose the star as it is the prettiest, although it doesn't give as dramatic effect as the straight and diagonal ones.

Rainbow Challenge, Day 5 - Blue

For me we are still in a nice end of the scale, and it was easier than I thought to pick my blue. My initial thoughts were China Glaze Frostbite as I just LOVE that colour. But today is very warm and humid so I didn't want to slap something to remind me of the winter all over my fingers.

So, with that in mind I have gone with Miss Sporty bright, but light blue, 456 with a top coat of Models Own Indian Ocean.

I love Miss Sporty polishes as they are really inexpensive, but they have lovely colours and they apply really well for me. Anyway. What do you think?

Rainbow Challenge - Day 4 - Green

Well after all my moaning yesterday, I just want to say how much I love green. Green is fantastic, I love all green polishes, light green, dark green, bright green, dull green, metallic green. You add green to the name and I am at the front of the queue begging to put it on my nails. However, this has given me loads of difficulty in what to put on my nails today.

So the short list was as follows...

Firstly i wanted to do something different to what I have done before, so that is no stamping, no feature nails and no glitter. So out come the stamps. ( also a fabby idea to use two different greens - yay!)

So I decided to go for a light and dark, and had two untrieds that fitted the bill, so bargain. Here it goes...

Mint Macaroon base colour, with a stamp from BM plate 204 in Catrice King of Greens. It is so refreshing after that revolting yellow I almost wept at the beauty of it all. ( slight exaggeration there ladies and gents)

Rainbow Nail Challenge - Day 3 - Yellow

Okay, well my first admission is I really really dislike yellow. I don't own ANY yellow clothes, and I only have 4 yellow nail varnishes and one of those came in a set so I didn't choose it!

So, what i did. I wanted to make the yellow as little noticeable as possible, so I covered it up with chunky glitter. If I had chance I would have covered it up with fire!

Rainbow Nails Challenge - Day 2 - Orange...

I am going to admit now that orange really isn't my favourite colour. However, due to a recent donation from my lovely mum I did get into it a tad.

Well you asked for orange and you are going to get it.

I started with these, I couldn't choose a favourite. So, had to improvise

The polishes I have used are.... ( from left to right)

Miss Sporty 452

Technic - Juicy Jelly

Color Club - unnamed (came in a set)

Nina Ultra Pro - Orange Flame

Color Club - unnamed ( came in a set)

Miss Sporty - 326

I used Miss Sporty 452 as my base, and my thumb developed spots of the lovely Technic Juicy Jelly

Then came some dots of the colour club peach on my index finger

Then we got some dots on my middle finger with the lovely neon Orange Flame

Dots on my ring finger in Colour Club orange sparkly no named!

Then finally my pinky gets some dots in Miss Sporty 326

And this is the final result on all the nails!
